Situated in the heart of the Aure valley Saint Lary-Soulan is one of the leading all year round Pyrenean resorts. With plentiful shops, activity centres, bars and restaurants tucked into the tastefully redeveloped centre it is a charming destination to simply wander through or to plan an activity packed holiday choosing from the vast range of sports available such as canyoning, rafting or rock climbing.

This is a popular destination for walkers and trekkers on the GR10 coast to coast walking route. With nearby lakes and the vast national parks in France and Spain on the doorstep Saint-Lary Soulan serves as an ideal base for discovering the Pyrenees.

Not just for those on foot this is a cyclists' paradise with a choice of leisurely scenic circuits, mountain bike trails or challenging rides following in the footsteps of the Tour de France. The famous Pla d'Adet, Col d’Aspin, Col de Peyresourde and Tourmalet mountain passes are all manageable ascents from here.

In winter Saint-Lary is hugely popular amongst French and Spanish skiers. This is a big domain offering 53 runs totalling 100km of pistes spread over three linked, and yet distinct sectors.
Saint Lary 1700 (the Pla d’Adet sector) offers excellent family skiing including snow kindergarten, toboggan run and ‘Kidpark’, a fun snow sports park for budding skiers aged 6 to 12 yrs.
SAINT LARY 1900 (Espiaube) is dedicated to the more experienced skier with the showpiece Mirabelle run descending 700 metres over its 3.6 Km length.
SAINT LARY 2400 has an excellent snowpark complete with PA system which doubles as a skate park in the summer, mogul and slalom stadiums and also provides access to Lake Oule for delightful snow-shoe rambles accessible from the lakeside chairlift.

For some much needed relaxation head for the state of the art child friendly thermal spa to soothe away any aches and pains or the summer open air swimming pool with its 3 pools and diving board. There is also a cinema, sports centre, merry go round, bungy trampoline, bouncy castles and many more child friendly activities to ensure that everyone in the family has a good time.
