| La Ferme de Ledre is located in a tranquil and stunning landscape with wonderful views of the Pyrenees. Its charming owners Corinne and Georges Samora offer you a warm welcome to their exciting enterprise.
The main house has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms which sleep 15 people including a bedroom specially adapted for the disabled. The gite has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom and sleeps 6. It has a salon, dining room and a well-equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and washing machine. The farm is open all year round and is centrally heated in winter and has been furnished and decorated to a high standard. The large restaurant is a central feature of the farm with its traditional décor, beams and an open fireplace. Breakfast and a 3 course dinner with aperitif, wine and coffee are all taken in this lovely room. The cuisine is traditional French home cooking and many of the products are directly from the farm. Corinne and Georges pride themselves in their home grown vegetables but most of all with home produced lamb, duck and foie gras. There is a fishing lake on site, and a river borders the property. Nearby is the fabulous 18 hole Golf de l’Ariege, offering a 10% discount to residents over an uncrowded and challenging terrain with spectacular views. The friendly clubhouse has a restaurant. Many activities are available in the area such as all types of water sports, walking, climbing, horseriding and cycling. Skiing is only an hour away. This is the heart of Cathar country and there are many sites of historical and cultural interest. |
